The MAC Archie's Girl Collection has been my obsession for the month of February! I think that's been the case for a lot of makeup lovers. The color palette of the collection combined with the nostalgia and theme is too fun to resist! I've been loving playing around with the products I picked up. I've had a few weeks to build my opinion and want to share a quick review on each product. I chose to review these products together because I've seen a lot of bloggers mention that these two items are the exact same color. I thought it would be helpful to combine the reviews and note the color differences.
MAC BETTY BRIGHT LIPSTICK
Betty Bright Lipstick is described as a light, bright peach. I see a slight peachiness. I think it is more of a light, vibrant pink-coral. Betty Bright is a Satin finish. As with most MAC satin finishes, it is very pigmented, has a semi-matte finish and is long lasting.
To get a nice application I had to first exfoliate my lips. The satin formula can be drying. To avoid any flakes or dryness, exfoliating the lips and following with lip balm is suggested. I don't notice a problem with dryness as long as I prep my lips before application. The formula of this lipstick is so pigmented that swiping it over my lips was too heavy. Swiping it made my lips looked too caked with product and the color didn't distribute evenly. I had to dab the lipstick over my lips until i got the desired color. The dabbing motion also gave me an even application. It lasted 5 hours on my lips before I needed to touch up.

MAC BETTY 'KISS & DON'T TELL' LIPGLASS
MAC 'Kiss & Don't Tell' lipglass is described as a bright coral. In the tube it looks like the exact color as the Betty Bright lipstick. When swatched, it is a darker more pink version. It is a bright pink-coral and Betty Bright is a light, vibrant pink-coral. The color is medium coverage with one swipe and mostly opaque coverage with two swipes. The formula went on evenly and felt nice on the lips. It lasted 2 1/2 hours on me.
I'm loving these shades and see myself getting a lot of wear out of them
this Spring/Summer. I look forward to using them in some future tutorials.
