Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipstick
  US $34.00
YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks come in a variety of eighteen shades. The luxurious line of lipsticks have something for everyone -ranging from milky nudes to vampy berries to vibrant reds. YSL describes the formula as “light and covering, the cream texture becomes fluid on contact with the lips, for a delightful feeling and an exceptional gliding effect.” I think that perfectly encompasses the formula and application.
I chose #13 Peach Passion, a gorgeous vibrant peach shade. It's a lovely shade and exceptionally perfect for Spring. It's a very wearable shade of peach but, the touch of brightness makes it unique. I usually wear Peach Passion with winged eyeliner and Nars Orgasm on my cheeks.  It brightens my whole face and gives a chic, fresh-faced look.
The formula is like nothing else! It's the creamiest, most pigmented lipstick I've ever used. Just the slightest touch to the lips delivers fully opaque, buttery color. It's so pigmented that I actually have to dab it over my lips. Swiping will apply too much product. The formula is moisturizing, gives a nice sheen and smells of mango. The buttery formula also gives a lot of slip to the lips. That makes the wear time below average at about 2-3 hours. Wear time would normally effect my rating of a product but, that's not the case here! With this luxurious packaging and sweet, silky formula, who cares! Just pulling this out of my makeup bag brings a smile to my face and a touch of glamour to my day!

Peach Passion was my favorite bright lipstick last Spring. It's a perfect pop-of-color
that's flattering while also making a statement. I have a couple other lipsticks from this line that I plan on reviewing soon. Subscribe to stay updated! : )
What do you think of this shade? Have you tried any of these YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks? If so, what are your favorite shades?
Interested in trying??
