Milani has recently revamped their line of lipsticks. The lipsticks now have a shiny golden tube with a color swatch at the bottom. The Milani lipsticks are some of my favorite drugstore lipsticks so I was curious to know if they revamped the formula as well.

I decided to try Nude Creme, a  pinky-nude beige. This shade gives a natural-looking nude lip. It doesn't completely mute out your lips in the way MAC Creme D' Nude or Revlon Soft Nude do. It has a lot more pink to it which gives a softer, more natural look. It's perfect for a natural daytime look and equally as gorgeous with a dramatic smokey eye.

The pigmentation is great. With one swipe, you have fully opaque color. This lipstick feels nice and light on the lips. The formula is creamy but, it doesn't give a lot of slip on the lips- which makes for great lasting power (at about 4 hours). They smell of sweet, artificial candy. It's a pretty strong fruity scent but, it's not overpowering. I notice the scent mostly during application. After application, it fades and I don't notice it at all. The formulation of these new revamped lipsticks seems to be the same. After analysis, the only differences I noticed was the packaging (and the name change: Milani Color Perfect to Milani Color Statement). It still has the same great pigmentation, comfortable wear and sweet candy scent as the Milani Color Perfect line of lipsticks.

When I first applied Milani Nude Creme, I thought it looked comparable to one of my all-time favorite MAC lipsticks, Patisserie. After swatching them side-by-side it's actually a pinker version of MAC 'The Faerie Glen' lipstick. The Faerie Glen was a popular limited edition shade from the MAC 2010 Tartan Tale Collection. If you were/are a fan of 'The Faerie Glen' or are just a nude lipstick lover, you should definitely go check out Milani Nude Creme! It's now one of my go-to, perfect-with-any-look shades! Take a looksie at Milani Nude Creme on my lips in the pictures below!
